Changes to the Spanish domain name .es

The Spanish Domain Name Registry recently implemented a new naming policy for registering domain names directly under .es .

The new naming policy is effective immediately. The changes can be best summarized by the following two points. First, a relaxation in the categories of prohibited domains. Second, there is NO change in the criteria of entities eligible to register .es domains. NetNames fee to arrange the registration and annual management of Spanish domain names is £120/US$177/€197.
